Born in Village - Jaitpur (Sarsiwa), District- Baloda Bazar of Chhattisgarh, India Shri.Vinod Kumar Tandon, who is presently serving in CRPF as Deputy Commandant has attained the Ph.D degree in ‘Political Science’ from Pt. Ravi shankar Shukla University, Raipur (C.G). The officer perused his research through correspondence studies and on 30th July, 2021 after attending viva voce has finally attained Ph.D. degree. The officer has chosen a very challenging topic of his research which is not only hazardous in gathering real-time information as well as factual data but also a useful tool for professional competence of such daring officers serving in the Force.
The officer has carried out his research on ‘Analysis of the role of police administration in the eradication of Naxalism in the state of Chhattisgarh (with special reference to Sukma District)’, under the able guidance of Dr. AlkaMeshram, Principal, Govt. Art & Commerce P.G. College, Vaishlinagr, BHILAI (C.G.) and co-supervision of Dr. D.N. Suryawanshi, Retd. Principal S.R.C.S. Arts and Comm. Collage, DURG (C.G).Dr. VinodTandon has selected Naxalism as core topic for the research title and emerged many useful ideas to overcome of this terrific problem of the Country.
