Urmila Singh releases logo and brochure of Shimla

Urmila Singh Governor released a logo and brochure of Shimla at Rajbhawan here today. They were brought out by the members of Shimla Bicentennial Group to commemorate the occasion of Shimla's  200th year of existence.Smt Singh congratulated the members of the group for the endeavour and added that efforts should be made to preserve the rich heritage of the town. She hoped that the brochure would acquaint the people especially the younger generation about the glorious history of Shimla.Dr Ravinder Kumar Dhiman Founder of Shimla Bicentennial Group apprised the Governor that the brochure was a compilation of rare photographs and historical facts related to the town.Sh Ravi Shankar Sood, Founder Secretary, Prem Prasad Pandit, Adviser Archives, Ms.Arti Gupta, State Co-ordinator Worldwide Fund for Nature, Dr Sandeep Rattan,  Abhinav Sharma and Atharv Dhiman Members of the Group were also present on the occasion.
