Sumedh Singh, IPS joined his duty as DGP, Punjab today. He was granted earned leave for the period from 4.4.14 to 20.5.14 and during this leave period Sh. Suresh Arora, IPS Director General of Police-cum-Chief Director Vigilance Bureau was posted as Director General of Police (DGP), Punjab, Chandigarh. Disclosing this, a spokesperson of State Government informed that Sh. Suresh Arora transferred and posted as Director General of Police-cum-Chief Director Vigilance Bureau, Punjab, Chandigarh against the vacant post.
