Urmila Singh Governor released a Journal – ‘A Journal on Social Thought’ brought out by the Ambedkar Youth Edifying Association, Himachal Pradesh  at Rajbhawan here today. The journal is based on the life and principles of Dr B.R. Ambedkar, a philosopher, jurist, politician and architect of Indian Constitution.Lauding the efforts of the Association, Governor hoped that the endeavour would go a long way in popularizing the thoughts and principles of Dr B.R.Ambedkar, who worked for the upliftment of deprived sections of the society. He fought for the establishment of a society based on the principles of equality and justice, she said.A delegation of the Ambedkar Youth Edifying Association headed by Sh Karan Kaushal State President, Ms Vandana Kumari Vice President, Sh Shareef Mohammad Joint Secretary and Sh Rakesh Kumar General Secretary presented a copy of the Journal to Smt Singh.S.R.Harnot, noted writer, Prof R.L Zinta, Editor of the Journal and other office bearers of the Association were present on the occasion.
