The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today released comprehensively informative books in the shape of District Statistical Handbook, with a title 'District at a Glance and Village Amenity Directory' for the fiscal 2019-20.On this occasion, the DDC opined that the statistical data forms basic source for perspective planning & monitoring of the growth and development of a district and these publications shall go a long way to help various officers in deciding their future strategies for actualization of their aims and objectives of the schemes being implemented by them in an effective manner.It was informed that the publications have been possible only due to the hard work and dedication of the concerned staff of the Statistics & Evaluation Office, Kulgam under the able guidance of DDC, Kulgam.Present on the occasion were Chief Planning Officer and District Statistics & Evaluation Officer, Kulgam.
