As part of ongoing Yoga week celebrations to mark International Yoga Day, 2021, Department of Indian System of Medicine, AYUSH in-collaboration-with District Police, Ramban organized a Yoga session at Sanasar. Additional  SP, Rajni Sharma, Dy SP Headquarters, Rajinder Singh Chib, SHO Chanderkote, Vijay Choudhary, SHO Batote,  Ranjeet Rao and several other officers and officials from police department participated in the Yoga session.Speaking on the occasion, the District Nodal Officer (AYUSH) ISM Ramban, Dr Sanjay Chadha,  highlighted the benefits of practicing of YOGA regularly, especially to boost immunity, release stress and to live a healthy life. He urged the people, especially those working 24X7 like police personnel, to adopt yoga as an integral part of their daily routine to avoid stress and other lifestyle diseases.The Session began with prayer followed by ASANS and Prarayaam by YOGA therapist Yashpal Sharma and District YOGA Coordinator-Ramban Dr. Masood Iqbal Zarger.ISM, Department also distributed immunity boosting medicines   among the participantsLater, Dr. Masood Iqbal Zarger organized an on spot quiz session in which SHO, Chanderkote Vijay Choudhary was adjudged winner of the event.The Department of AYUSH thanked the police and administrative Department for making the event a grand success. DY. SP Headquarter in his speech said that in future we will jointly conduct such sessions in remote areas of the district Ramban.
