Department of Indian system of Medicines Kishtwar is organising various activities in the run-up to the International Day of Yoga, 2021.In this regard, the department Thursday organised a webinar under the broad theme of “Be with Yoga, Be at Home” in collaboration with the Department of Youth Services and Sports and on the direction of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma.The today’s topic of the webinar was "Yoga and Yoga Practices as adjuvant therapy in various disorders in different specialities of Ayurveda."More than 400 participants from all walks of life including ISM staff, staff of DYSSO, prominent persons took part in the webinar through virtual mode on Google meet.
The webinar was aimed at to remind the wider audience about the issues that have become extremely important in the present context of Covid-19. The series will seek to develop a cumulative understanding to respond to these cross-cutting issues.Dr Joonid Iqbal Physician, ISM was the main speaker on the occasion and the District officer ISM Dr Tariq Hussain and DYSSO Kharati Lal Sharma were also present on the occasion.
