Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Charandeep Singh today transferred over 10 Kanal land to Housing and Urban Development department proposed for establishment of solid waste segregation plant in the Reasi Town.The DC handed over land documents to Chairman Municipal Council (Reasi) , Sudhesh Puri in presence of Additional District Development Commissioner, Jyoti Slathia and ACR Sanjay Badyal.The DC said segregation is an important aspect of Solid Waste Management, which is important for the protection of public health and environment. While interacting with DC, Chairman Municipal Council apprised the DC about the issues pertaining to PDD and PWD, The DC directed concerned Xens for immediate action.The chairman MC thanked district administration for the cooperation extended to the MC in scientific disposal of waste and its management. He assured his full cooperation in making Reasi clean and garbage free.
