CEO SHA reviews progress of PMJAY Scheme in District Kishtwar

Chief Executive Officer, State Health Authority Jammu, Dr Sagar D Doifode today chaired a meeting of the concerned district officers here at conference hall DC office Complex Mini secretariat and reviewed the progress of registration under the Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY (Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana) scheme in the district.Deputy commissioner, Ashok Sharma, ADC, Kishori Lal Sharma, CMO, Dr R S Manhas, other officers of  health department and CSCs along with VLEs and Arogya Mitra were present in the meeting.During the meeting, he was apprised of the progress in the implementation and registration process of Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY scheme in the districts.CEO SHA asked DC Kishtwar to involve Revenue, Health Services, Social Welfare and Rural Development Department officials for door to door survey and organize village assemblies to cover the left out beneficiaries under the prestigious scheme.He stressed upon the BMOs to work religiously so that no eligible person is left uncovered under the scheme besides stressed upon the need to speed up the process besides maintain close coordination of  Deputy Commissioners and  among concerned officers so that the registration of deserving people is done in a time bound manner.

He also solicited all the BMOs for the  installing of additional enrolment machines and devices besides mobilise manpower  in their respective health block at CHCs and other medical establishment in the  districts to fast-track the enrolment process on National Portal and ensure that beneficiaries in their respective districts come to Common Service Centres (CSCs) for enrolment and receiving Golden Cards. The chair also  reviewed the progress of implementation of the scheme in the empanelled hospitals in the district Viz DH Kishtwar and CHC Marwah and was apprised of the  number of poor patients already been given free health care facilities under Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY scheme so far.He asked the CMO Kishtwar to project the need of more Arogya Mitra to the concerned quarters so that pace of the work will be accelerated.He was also apprised of the issues like the dearth of staff in the health institutions, besides the shortage of specialists in the district Hospital Kishtwar.He assured the house that he will project the problem to the Higher ups for the immediate resolution.He expressed satisfaction over the achievement of the district administration in generating 30,400 Ayushman Bharat cards in the district so far.DC Kishtwar apprised him that Sub Divisional level committees headed by SDMs have been formed to monitor the progress of the COVID19 Vaccination, Testing and registration under ABJAY-sehat scheme and share the data in his office on daily basis.
