Health and Family Welfare Minister, Shri Kaul Singh Thakur called on Chairperson of UPA Smt. Sonia Gandhi at New Delhi today. Health Minister urged Smt. Gandhi, for providing special financial package for the State for accelerating the pace of development. He also urged for reviving the industrial package for the State as it would not only provide employment to youths but would also strengthen the economy.
He said that State was in debt of Rs. 29,000 crore besides, State had to pay additional Rs. 500 crore for paying allowances to its employees due to implementation of fifth pay commission report. He apprised her of various ambitious schemes launched by the State Government for welfare of all sections of the society.
