Deputy commissioner kapurthala Deepti Uppal said that the newly inagurated 11 Wellness centres would prove to be a game changer in rural areas as the newly inagurated centres have been attached with E- Sanjivani telemedicine at Mohali to provide the health related advice to people online.While taking part in the inaguration process of wellness centres by the Cabinet Minister Bram Mohindra through online at DAC, Deputy commissioner said that in kapurthala 11 wellness centres inagurated today included Ibban , ahmadpur, kesarpur, Jallowal, Dawoodpur, Murar, Dham, Hambowal, Bagrian, Maheru and Chaheru .These centres have one community health officer, Multi Purpose health workers, Nursing staff and 5 Asha workers.Besides providing health related facilities these centres would also shown the way for fitness through yoga for 2 days in week,counseling and other physical activities.Deputy commissioner said that " these centres would provide a ultra modern and quick response in health services in rural areas at doorsteps besides reducing burden on Civil and Sub Division hospitals across the state.Prominent amongst present on the occasion included ADC D SP Angra, Chairperson Zila Parishad Kamlesh Rani , Vishal soni, Civil surgeon Dr Seema, DDPO Lakhwinder singh .
