The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) youth wing co-president Anmol Gagan Maan on Tuesday conducted an election rally in favour of the party candidates for the upcoming municipal bodies' elections. Addressing the people on the occasion, Anmol Gagan Maan said that for the past several years people had given opportunity to the Congress and the Akalis, but they did nothing for the people of Punjab. "These corrupt parties only looted Punjab. Akali and Congress leaders filled their pockets with people's money. The people of Punjab are not getting good treatment in government hospitals today," she added. She said that the people of the city were longing for clean drinking water and diseases were spreading due to pollution. "On the other hand, there is Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi where people are giving priority to the government hospitals for treatment today. People are getting their children out of private schools and are putting them in government schools, they are also provided clean drinking water and electricity for free from the government," added Mann.
She further said that the wrong policies of Congress and SAD-BJP government had put Punjab on the verge of drowning. "It is because of these parties that our youth are caught in the grip of unemployment and drug addiction. It is very sad that today the youth of Punjab are going abroad after spending millions of rupees due to lack of employment. If the intentions of these Congressmen and Akalis were clear and they really did some work for the people, today lakhs of youth of Punjab would not have to go thousands of kilometres away from their motherland for employment," she added. She said that the Aam Aadmi Party has now brought a ray of hope for the people of Punjab. "People of Punjab today are saying that AAP can bring Punjab back on track. The people of Punjab are ready to form the Aam Aadmi Party government in 2022. If the AAP government is formed in Punjab, the model of Kejriwal government of Delhi will be implemented here, where people will get better treatment in government hospitals and better education in government schools," she added. Anmol Gagan Maan said that the Aam Aadmi Party had always worked for the people and stood by its people in times of trouble. She appealed to the people to vote for the candidates of the Aam Aadmi Party on February 14 and make them win the elections.
