DDC Kupwara reviews progress of Agriculture and allied sectors

The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara today convened a meeting of officers of Agriculture and allied sectors to review the progress achieved by each department under various schemes.On the occasion, the DDC said that the government is committed to uplift the Agriculture and allied sector which generates livelihood opportunities for unemployed educated youth.The DDC directed the officers to conduct mass awareness among the farmers for application of scientific techniques in various agriculture practices.He also directed concerned officers to submit a detailed job chart that clarifies the roles of all line officers at each level.Earlier, the DDC was apprised by the officers about the progress made under various schemes by each department.JD Planning, Chief Horticulture Officer Kupwara, AD Fisheries, District Agriculture Officer and other concerned attended the meeting.
