Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Imam Din accompanied by ADC Nazir Ahmad lone today visited Sub District Hospital (SDH), Sogam where he inspected functioning of the patient care and provision of other healthcare facilities. He also took the stock of snow clearance in the Sogam area of Lolab Sub-Division.During his visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected various wards of the Sub District Hospital Sogam, interacted with patients and enquired about the facilities being provided to them by Hospital Administration. He inspected various sections of the hospital including OPD, IPD, Gyne, X-Ray section and other units besides the checked duty roaster of the staff. He also inspected the newly constructed Hospital building.On the occasion, the people demanded posting of female doctors in Gayne section and specialists for running ultrasound facilities in the hospital.The Deputy Commissioner assured the people for fulfilling their genuine demands in a time bound manner. He expressed satisfaction over the patient care services being provided by the hospital administration.The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned to maintain patients record visiting both in day and night.Earlier, Incharge BMO, Nazir Ahmad apprised the Deputy Commissioner about the overall working of the hospital.Later, the Deputy Commissioner inspected several lanes and bylanes of the Sogam town. He took stock of snow clearance process and was satisfied with the work done on the ground.
