DDC reviews developmental scenario of Kupwara

The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Imam Din today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review developmental activities undertaken in the district under District CAPEX Budget, Languishing Projects and Border Area Development Programme (BADP).The meeting was informed that 70 percent of the available funds under District CAPEX Budget for 2020-21 have been expended up to ending December 2020.  It was informed that under R&B, Rs.128.35 lakh have been utilized during the said period for execution of different roads. Rs.214 lakh have been utilized under MDM, while as, 174 lakh under ICDS/Nutrition.It was further informed that under NREGA (SGRY), Rs.7254 lakh have been incurred during the same period while, 1980 lakh have been expended under PMAY and Rs.139 lakh under NRLM.The DDC also took stock of developmental works taken under BADP and Languishing projects.The DDC urged upon the officers to accelerate the developmental tempo in the district and ensure completion of all ongoing works within the stipulated time frame. He also urged them to work with mutual coordination for better results at the ground level.He also asked District Officers to remain available at work places as all ongoing works shall be monitored by the inspection committees during coming days.
