Comprehensive plan chalks out for 100 % basic civic amenities in kapurthala villages in 2021 : Rana Gurjit singh

MLA Rana Gurjit singh said that the Punjab Government has chalked out a comprehensive plan to uplift the living standards in villages of kapurthala assembly segment by providing 100 % basic civic amenities during 2021 and to meet this prestigious task the Rural Development and Panchayat department has released grant of Rs. 5.89 crore for the same .Adressing the people at various villages namely khojewal, bishanpur arian, Boot and Ghug bet , the MLA said that the Punjab Government has allocated funds under 14th finance commission for villages besides launching " smart village" campaign to provide sewrage, drinkable water supply, concrete roads, lights, sports stadiums after every 5 villages.The MLA distributes grants to Khojewal 10.41 lakh , Wadala Kalan 11.42 lakh , Wadala Khurd 3.59 lakh , Phiali 4 lakh, kot krar Khan 12.94 lakh , Nurpur Dona 8.21 lakh, Mainwan 5.47 lakh , Dhawankhe Nishan 1.63 lakh Dhawankhe Jagir 4.13 lakh , Bishanpur 10.30 lakh , Seenpur 5.95 lakh ,Chuharwal 5.50 lakh , Lakhan Kalan 11.13 lakh ,  Patti Khijjarpur 8.88 lakh , Dera Lakhan Kalan 11.13 lakh Lakhan Khurd 7.65 lakh, Phullewal 4.11 lakh , Dainwind 6.21 lakh,  Daburji 6.41 lakh , Kadupur 7.44 lakh, Dham 3.87 lakh,  Kokalpur 9 lakh , Kanjli 8.33 lakh, Ghug Alaudipur 7.65 lakh , Nawan Pind Bhathe 28.14 lakh , Nawan Pind Gatewala 6.7 lakh received the grants for overall development of the villages. He has also reviews the ongoing development works with village panchayats and XEN Panchayati Raj and BDPO. MLA also asked the panchayats to remain vigilent to ensure the completion of  evelopment works in stipulated time frame and its quality.Prominent amongst present on the occasion included ADC D SP Angra, Amarjit Saidowal ,President district congress rural, XEN Sridhar, DSP Surinder singh.
