DDC Kishtwar asks administration to gear up for celebration of Republic Day

Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma today chaired a meeting of district officers to review the arrangements for Republic Day celebration-2021 here at the conference hall DC office Complex Mini secretariat Kishtwar.During the meeting, threadbare discussion was held with regard to all necessary arrangements to be put in place for smooth and successful celebration of Republic Day.Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Pawan Parihar, Joint Director Planning, Mohd. Iqbal, ACR Kishtwar Dr. Amir Hussain, officers from Education, RDD, Forest, Youth Services and Sports, Municipality, PHE, R&B, PDD, Banks etc. besides other concerned departments remained present in the meeting.The DC directed the concerned officers to ensure that all arrangements including security, transport, sanitation, drinking water facility, power supply, medicare facilities, barricading, seating arrangement, refreshment etc are put in place well in time.He further directed the concerned officers for illumination of government buildings and proper sanitation arrangements for smooth conduct of the Republic day celebration.Besides, he said that cultural programmes will also be presented by the artists, as well as school children which will be prepared on the themes like  Beti Bachao Beti Padai, Swatch Baharat Abhiyan, prevention of  COVID19, Ayo School Chalein, etc.Directions were passed to SDMs and Tehsildars of the Sub Divisions, Tehsils and Niabats to put in place all arrangements for the celebration of Republic Day in their respective jurisdictions.
