District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kulgam Showkat Ajaz Bhat, today visited District Hospital (DH) Kulgam to inspect patient care and medical services being provided.During his visit DDC interacted with the patients and attendants and enquired about the facility being provided to them in the hospital.He also inspected various wards of the hospital and took stock of the medical facilities being provided to the patients.During the inspection, DDC was apprised by Medical Superintendent, Dr Muzaffar Ahmad about the stock of medicines available and other facilities being provided to the patients.DDC exhorted upon the concerned to ensure that roster is strictly followed and patients are taken care of with utmost dedication and sincerity at the institution.He was directed concerned to make the Central heating system for new block operational within days besides ensuring adequate heating arrangements in patient wards and other sections of the DH.DDC was informed by the Medical Superintendent that work on the Medical gas pipeline for the old building and gas plant Is under process.Later DDC also reviewed the status of various developmental projects of hospital.
