“HADAF” which was an initiative by Higher Education Department and Deputy Commissioner  Shopian Choudhary Mohammad Yasin entered into a new passion when NCERT books from 6th to 12th class were distributed free of cost among the students.Principal Degree College, Shopian Dr. Javid Ahmad, Dr (HOD Economics), Nisar Ahmad,  Coordinator HADAF Dr. Umar Farooq and other faculty members of the college were present on the occasion.Principal of the college lauded the efforts of Commissioner Secretary Higher Education Department and Deputy Commissioner Shopian for starting such a noble initiative which has benefited many students of the district. He assured Deputy Commissioner of full support in future also which will be beneficial to the student community.Dr. Umar Farooq (Coordinator of the Programme) praised the able stewardship of both the personalities who floated the idea of providing free IAS/KAS Coaching to the students of this District. He hoped that such programmes be initiated in future also where students get an opportunity to get explored to the “what Next” problem.Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner voiced his happiness in seeing the same spirit and enthusiasm among the students which they were having from the day 1st when the programme was initiated. He held detailed discussions with the students, listened and replied patiently to the students of each query they asked. He hoped that HADFAF will see colours soon and their hard work will not go in vain.
