On 5th day of the Back to Village Phase–III programme, multifarious activities were observed across 96 panchayats here with active participation of PRIs and the general public.On the occasion, Visiting Officers profiled issues, grievances of the people and Gram Sabhas were also held besides sports kits and different certificates were distributed among the beneficiaries. The Visiting Officers inaugurated several developmental work projects in panchayats.The DDC Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat also visited several panchayats and listened to the issues highlighted by people.Meanwhile Director Rural Development Department, Qazi Sarwar also one of the Designated officers visited several panchayats in Kulgam and inspected various development projects and also laid foundation of some new work projects.He inaugurated cricket tournament at Panchayat halqa, Gund Tankipora and interacted with the players and locals. Besides he also visited panchayat halqa waltengoo vasaknag where people apprised him of their issues.On the occasion, the director highlighted the objective of the B2V3 programme and added that its main objective is to bring governance at the doorstep of people.Conservator of Forests South Kashmir, Tawheed Ahmad Deva visited Panchayat Halqa Chumbgund as Visting Officer and profiled issues and demands of people and laid the foundation of some new work projects.
