District Administration Ramban today organised a one-day training programme to acquaint the designated officers about implementation of gram Panchayat development grants (GPDG) and ‘Back to village -III’(B2V3) programme.District Development Commissioner (DDC), Nazim Zai Khan inaugurated the training programme.The DDC informed the participants about the objective of the 'Back to Village'-III programme. He impressed upon the officers to sensitize the PRIs and public about the programme for holistic development of their Panchayats as per the development plan formulated by the PRIs.He laid emphasis on complete understanding of the contours of the 'Back to Village'-III programme.Master Trainers, DPO Sunil Bhutyal and DSWO, Wahid- ur- Rehman briefed the officers about the objective and salient features of the programme through power point presentation. He advised them to strictly adhere to the prescribed guidelines of the programme.They were asked to provide the information in a pre designed format for the allocated Panchayat besides capturing panchayat and sector wise data under Back to village. The DPO asked the officers to hold detailed deliberation in the Gram Sabhas about the issues.Participants raised their queries relating to programme and resource persons cleared their doubts on the spot.
