GDC Baramulla Organizes Mehfil-e-Mushaira on Corruption

Department of Urdu, Government Degree College, Baramulla, today organized a day long mushaira on corruption in which renowned poets of the area participated. The Programme was organised under 'Teacher Enrichment Programme'.On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo, who was the chief guest, highlighted the ill-consequences of corruption on the socio-economic fabric of the society.He also signified the role of society to curb the corruption and urged stakeholders to play their part in eradicating this evil.Moreover, he said that administration is committed towards providing transparent and hassle free public services.The participants through their literary works emphasized upon the need and measures to eliminate corruption from the society.SSP Baramulla Abdul Quyoom, Principal GDC, various prominent persons were present on the occasion.
