Director Horticulture Jammu, Ram Savak today chaired a meeting of the officers of district Jammu, Samba and Kathua to review physical and financial progress under various centrally sponsored schemes and the CAPEX budget .He impressed upon the officers to achieve the targets in full in the interest of the farming community.The Director also visited the High Density Plantation at Village Dharupand Ganeshu Chak and started the Back Yard plantation at village Hakkal. He interacted with the PRIs of village Hakkal and Ganeshu Chak along with beneficiaries on the spot during the field visit.He also inspected Government Fruit Plant Nursery Maralian alongwith the officers of the three Districts to assess the various ongoing works and instructed the staff to work hard to produce quality plant material as per allotted targets.During the visit, Director was accompanied by Joint Director Horticulture, Lokesh Kumar Bali, Deputy Director Planning, Ankita Sharma, Chief Horticulture Officer Jammu, S. Sarbjit Singh, District Horticulture Officers, DLSMSs and Horticulture Development Officers.
