Global Students Union urges LG to direct CUK to conduct exam through 'online mode'

Global Students Union has urged Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha to direct Central University of Kashmir (CUK) to extend the date for examination or conduct examination through online mode. President Global Students Union Peer Tehleel Manzoor said, "In view of Coronavirus Pandemic, its not possible for students to appear in offline mode of examination." "When our all financial activities are shutdown, offices, educational institutions are shut then why is the Central University of Kashmir (CUK) going to conduct the exams in offline mode for students?", said Tehleel. He further said that the Central University of Kashmir (CUK) Authorities want to increase the number of postive cases in the shape of students."We urge Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha to direct Central University of Kashmir (CUK) to extend the date for examination or conduct examination through online mode if possible", he added. "Due to this Notice, most of the students are in depression. The students could not study properly due to Coronavirus Pandemic and continuous ban on 4G internet and got frustrated", he said.The Global Students Union has expected a positive and substantial response from the administration side.
