Covid Care Center Meritorious School Cures More Than 400 Patients in Patiala

Covid Care Center Meritorious School Patiala has so far cured and discharged more than 400 patients under Mission Fateh as a significant contribution in the fight against Covid.Disclosing this here today, Covid Care Incharge and  Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Dr. Preeti Yadav said that the Covid Care Center, which was started from mid-June, has so far received 550 patients, out of which 420 patients have been treated so far including today's 20 patients.  They have recovered and gone home happily. Nodal Officer Dr.  Shally Jaitley while elaborating further, said that the patients were satisfied with the health facilities and food and other facilities available here.  They have been served with a cup of tea in the morning, khichdi for breakfast, curd, paratha, curd-pulao, milk, vegetables / pulses / curry for lunch, bread and salad, juice at 4 pm, tea at 5 pm, night  Vegetables / pulses / curry, bread and salad in the food.She said that doctors, nurses, other medical staff, ward attendants, class four etc. were working in three shifts and taking full care of these patients.Rohit Kumar, who discharged today after recovering from Covid Care Center, said he came here with his wife Jyoti Gupta and one-month-old baby on August 2 after testing positive and is going to home after getting cured today.  He appreciated the medical facilities, food and sanitation facilities provided here and said that he did not face any difficulty during these days.  He said that moreover, every need of his one month old baby was met by the staff present here.Dr. Shally said  as the Covid Care Center falls under Level-1 in terms of COVID Care Facilities, it accommodates Asymptomatic patients (who do not have any symptoms related to the Covid but test positive).  She said that in case any patient develops any symptoms related to COVID, all arrangements have been made to transfer him/her to Govt Rajindra Hospital for level-2 (Mild) and Level-3 (Tertiary) Care.
