District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Shopian, today lunched a week-long “Plantation drive” at District Court Complex here.The drive was inaugurated by Chairman District Legal Services Authority Shopian in presence of Secretary District Legal Services Authority Shopian and Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee Shopian.The drive was launched by planting Conifer saplings in the District Court Complex and the Forest Department had provided 100 Conifer saplings for the purpose of planting them within the court premises and at all Legal Aid Clinics, Village Legal Care and support centers of the district.The Conifer saplings were distributed among the Para-Legal volunteers of the district for planting these in their respective areas.Besides the DLSA Staff, TLSC Staff, Retainer Lawyers and Para Legal Volunteers (PLV’s) were present on the occasion.Keeping in view the Covid-19 pandemic the SOP issued by government and social distancing was maintained during the drive.
