Punjab Minister for Forests and Social Justice, Empowerment and Minority Affairs  Sadhu Singh Dharamsot said that Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh was carrying out development works in the state despite the reduction in revenue receipts and increase in expenditure due to CORONA epidemic.Mr. Dharamsot was interacting with media after laying foundation stone of 12 MLD capacity Sewage Treatment Plant which would come up at a cost of Rs 17 crore at Nabha. He said that the work of this plant would be completed in 15 months.Cabinet Minister Dharamsot  while replying to a query,  said that the Akali Dal which had lost its existence, should abandon its opposition to the government headed by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and apologize to the people for what they had done in the past. He said that Captain Amarinder Singh had also put his chair at stake to protect the waters and now the steps taken to prevent this COVID-19 epidemic have set an example for Punjab, India and the world.Mr.  Dharamsot said that the development of Nabha had been overlooked by the previous governments but now but Punjab Government has opened the doors of treasury for the alround development of Nabha.
