Punjab School Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla congratulated winners of Ambassadors of Hope (AoH) from Rupagar district, for their marvelous performance in the online talent hunt competition. While talking with the title holders over video call, Mr. Singla also assured every possible help to them in achieving future goals.Notably, Jagteshwarjot Singh, a class 12th student of Mata Sahib Kaur Academy, was declared first and will be getting an Apple iPad while Harsifat Kaur, a class 4th student of Garden Valley International School Bela, stood second and will get a laptop. Meanwhile, Monavar Khan, a class 12th student of Government Senior Secondary School Bajrur, got third prize and will be getting an Android tablet. However, as many as 1,982 entries were registered from Rupnagar district for AoH competition.The first of its kind competition, AoH created a world record receiving over 1.05 lakh entries from school students in just eight days and it played a major role in ushering positivity in the state through school students and their families during Covid-19 pandemic.While talking with Mr. Vijay Inder Singla, Jagteshwarjot Singh said that he felt proud after winning the competition in the district. He also told that he had clinched three bronze medal in National level school games in 10 meter air rifle shooting event. The cabinet minister assured him every possible help in every aspect of life to fulfill his dreams.Meanwhile, Harsifat Kaur said that first of all she wanted to thank the minister for providing such an interactive platform for children during lockdown. She added that she was hopeful for winning the prize as she worked hard.Third position holder Monavar Khan told minister that he want to become a computer professional and working hard to achieve the goal. He added that he submitted a coronavirus awareness song in the AoH competition as singing is his family occupation. Monavar said that his family and teachers helped and motivated him during his rehearsals.
