Jammu , 24 Jul 2020

A deputation comprised of Panchas, Sarpanchas and prominent citizens of kathua thronged at the residence of Ch.Lal Singh, Chairman of Dogras Swabhimaan Sangahtan  and expressed their solidarity with him and pledged to stand by him in all odds and conspiracies being hatched against him to gag his bold voice for Jammu. All the members who strictly followed all SOP's in the meeting, expressed their anguish and unhappiness the way JKUT administrative apparatus is working much to the annoyance and indifference to the problems of the general public. All the members present in the meeting  condemned the dictatorial attitude of the Government where there is no space of dissent and any voice which does not toe the Government line,is tagged as sedition or anti national which is worrisome for any healthy democracy. While addressing the gathering, Chairman  DSSP Ch.Lal Singh expressed his gratitude to the people of whole of Jammu for their unflinching support and said that the way Government machinery is pursuing its agenda ;quite contrary to the popular sentiment, is reminding the people of Jammu the emergency days of the Congress. It's very unfortunate that during this Pandemic, when people are not in a position to meet two square meals for their families, this government in compliance with some business houses, is duping the General public of their hard earned money in the form of Toll Plazas which is being installed with impunity and no heed is being paid to the public outcry. He appealed to both HM and PM to intervene personally in this sensitive part of the country and not to leave its affairs upon those who have negligible political experience and have no connection with the ground.

Dr.Hari Dutt Shishu, General Secretary DSSP,Mr.  Ashok Sharma Councillor, MC Kathua, castigated the Government both in UT and in the Centre of its excess and coercion upon the people of Jammu province and expressed shock that Jammu has been brazenly duped of all it's due so much so the identity of Dogras ,is being fiddled by asking them to have Domicile issued and reducing our status to a UT. Why should Jammu suffer because of the misdeeds of Kashmir? Why the Dogras of Jammu, the founder of the state  ,should bear the brunt of the LG rule when the whole Jammu province irrespective of any caste, creed, and religion, is peaceful?, they remarked. All  office bearers unanimously resolved to launch a mass awareness campaign against the brutalities being inflicted upon the general public of Jammu province and to gear up the entire rank and file of the party to launch a  decisive battle for the restoration of the status of  State and also to  expose those at the helm of affairs, who  have chosen to be a mere spectator to the public grievances and their whole interest is  protection of their Chairs and positions and to eliminate any dissent voice by implicating in frivolous cases .They have forgotten that the position and the power they are enjoying,  basically belong to the public which  will not be swayed by fake rhetorics  in the time to come and they have made up their mind to give so called leaders a befitting reply in the time to come. Those prominent among others present in the meeting included of Sarpanch Mohan Singh Kharote, Sarpanch Avtar Singh Govindsar, Sarpanch Bhagmal, Sarpanch Govind Ram Sharma, Sarpanch Sunita, Advocate BS Jamwal, Professor  HR Sharma,  Rajinder Singh Bubby Ex. Chairman MC Kathua, Daleep Singh ex. Sarpanch, Sarpanch Naseeb Singh, Jatinder Pappu Ex. Councilor, Sarpanch Romesh, Devi Pt.Mohinder pal Sharma, GS Katal, Sr.Vice President  Private Schools Coordination Committee, and many other participated in the meeting.
