Vikas Kundal reviews progress on Tourism projects under PMDP

Managing Director Jammu and Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation (JKPCC), Vikas Kundal today held a review meeting in respect of PMDP projects of Tourism Department being executed by JKPCC Ltd.The meeting was attended by General Manager (K) Showkat Ahmad & Executive Engineers of various units of Kashmir Division while Chief Engineer JKPCC, ND Khawaja attended meeting through Video conferencing.The meeting reviewed scheme wise PMDP projects while officers were directed to ensure the effective follow-up of these projects in order to achieve best possible results.The meeting called for proper hygiene, as per the guidelines already issued by the Government, keeping in view the present COVID-19 pandemic should be followed while executing projects at the site of work.Besides, instructions were issued to the Executive Engineers for timely submission of Utilization Certificates to avail the requisite funding from the intending department for timely completion of works.MD directed the concerned officers to expedite the PMDP projects so that completion date fixed for the projects is achieved.MD said that work for PMDP projects under PRASAD scheme at Hazratbal, Multi level car parking at Hazratbal, Shopping Kiosiks (Bingri Market) and Wuzu Khanna (Public Convenience block) need to be expedited  and General Manager was instructed to clear impediment on war footing basis.On the occasion, all DGMs were asked to expedite the floating of e-tenders in a time bound manner.
