Vikas Kundal assumes charge as MD JKPCC, reviews status of ongoing projects

After assuming charge as Managing Director Jammu and Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation (JKPCC), Vikas Kundal, today held an introductory meeting with the officers and officials to review status of various projects being executed by the Corporation.The meeting was attended by Chief Engineer JKPCC, ND Khawaja, Executive Engineers of various units and other senior officials of the Corporation.Kundal directed the officials for ensuring optimum use of advanced technology in maintenance and construction of roads and buildings in Jammu and Kashmir besides using quality material in these projects. He assessed the practical and ground level implication of the projects along with financial progress. He stressed upon the concerned officers to conduct regular site visits to stay well versed with the actual situation and impending issues of their departments. He instructed them to speed up the pace of work on all ongoing projects for their timely completion besides directing them for avoiding diversion of funds from project to project.He instructed the officers to follow the guidelines of the World Bank strictly while dealing with JTFRP projects besides putting all works to e-tendering. He directed them to complete the projects in fixed timelines besides asking them to handover the completed projects immediately so that they can be utilized for public use.
