DDC Samba reviews implementation of Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives

District Development Commissioner, Samba, Rohit Khajuria today discussed the action plan under Atmanirbhar Bharat Initiative here  at a meeting of District officers.The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development, Sidharath Dhiman; Chief Planning Officer, Sukhleen Kour; GM Industries, Sansar  Chand; Assistant labour Commissioner, Amil Choudhary; Chief Medical officer, Rajinder Samyal; tourist officer, Rajesh Raina besides Lead District  Manager, Xen JPDCL and other officers.The District Development Commissioner   asked all the district officers to put in concrete and dedicated effort for making the Atmanirbhar Bharat  Initiative a successful programme in district samba. He stressed upon the district industries centre Dept to augment registration of MSMEs. The DDC  emphasised upon the industry promotional activities regarding manufacturing of sanitizers, gloves, masks, and PPE Kits in District industrial zone.Giving directions for early disbursement of incentives among the needy people, the DDC asked for expediting the development works under various  schemes executed through RDD in the district.Later, the DDC directed all the officers to submit a detailed action plan to be taken up by their respective departments for promotion of self reliant  nation under Atmanirbhar scheme.
