District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Singh Tara, today chaired a meeting of district officers under district level District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) to review progress on implementation of various Central Sponsored Schemes.The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Dr Amir Hussain, Assistant Commissioner Development, Kishore Singh Katoch, Joint Director Planning Mohd Iqbal, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Anoop Kumar, District Social Welfare Officer Tariq Ahmad Qazi, CEO Kishtwar, Dr Kuldeep Sharma, CMO Kishtwar, Dr R S Manhas and officers of various departments.DDC reviewed the sector wise physical and financial progress on various development works being executed under various Centrally Sponsored schemes and UT based schemes.Detailed deliberation was held on various schemes being implemented under different sectors of the district including Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, National Social Assistance Programme, Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin, Jal Jeevan Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchaye Yojana, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, National Health Mission, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Integrated Child Development Scheme, Mid Day Meal Scheme, Self Help Groups, Mission for Horticulture Development, Pradhan Mantri Ujwalla yojana etc.While reviewing implementation of key schemes like Ayushman Bharat, Jal Jeevan Mission, PM KISSAN, Din Dayal Upadhay Gramin Jyoti Yojana and Swachh Bharat Mission in most backward areas of district, DDC directed the concerned officers to identify the backward areas with 25 per cent development in every sector like healthcare, education, roads, pension coverage.All the executing agencies were directed to maintain a data base of photographs of every stage of execution of work with focus on geo-tagging of all the development works.On the issue of development of Zeera park at Paddar and Saffron park at Kishtwar, he directed the Chief Agriculture Officer to identify land and submit the DPR within 15 days time.DDC exhorted upon ACD to complete the job card verification ànd ensure that every labourer returned from outside UT during COVID-19 lockdown is registered and provided Job card. He also him to expedite construction works of 30 Anganwadi centres, distribution of the cotton mask to left out population of district at panchayat level, awareness genaration for adherance of COVID-19 SOPs at public places and work places.DDC asked the district officers to conduct awareness camps during the ongoing Kissan Pakhwara at the SAGY village Bhattan and other places.
