Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh today took comprehensive review of the COVID19 control and management measures in the district, here at a meeting of the concerned officers.The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sher Singh; ASP , Liaqat Choudhary; Additional Deputy Commissioner Kalakote, Krishan Lal; Additional Deputy Commissioner Sunderbani, Vinod Kumar Behnal; Additional Deputy Commissioner Nowshera Sukhdev Singh Sambayal; Additional Deputy Commissioner Koteranka, Surinder Mohan Sharma; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Mohd Ashraf; Sub-divisional Magistrate Thanamandi, Mukhtar Ahmed Sheikh; Deputy Secretary ,Tahir Malik; Chief Medical Officer, Dr.Sanjeev Puri; Assistant Commissioner Development, Sushil Khajuria; DSEO, Bilal Mir; District Panchayat Officer, Dr. Abdul Khabir; Deputy District Election Officer, Rizwan Asger; Assistant Labour Commissioner, Angrez Singh; Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Inzar Rana; Tehsildars, BMOs and other concerned officers involved in the management and containment of COVID-19The key points discussed during the meeting included implementation of unlock orders and implementation of Red zone protocols as per SOPs, strengthening of COVID19 checkpoints, sampling managements, managements of institutional Quarantine Centres and COVID Care Centres, house to house surveillance by the concerned team,100% coverage of Arogya Setu App etc.
The Deputy Commissioner said called for doubling the endeavours for the successful control of the virus in the district.He asked the ADCs, SDMs and tehsildars to keep close vigil on all the activities being carried out in the areas of their respective jurisdictions and take strict action against those found involved in violation of the SOPs norms. He asked to all the employees of the district to install the Arogya Setu app in their mobiles to avoid the risk of CoronaVirus infection to them and their families. He also asked for the audit of all the quarantine centres established in the district.He said that the reactivation of the village level committees is the need of the hour to prevent COVID19 in rural areas.He asked the Assistant Labour Commissioner to establish counselling centres at block level and complete the exercise of skill mapping of labourers in the district to provide them the work opportunities closer to their homes. The ALC was further asked to start the process of registration of all the labourers of the district under Atma Nirbhar Bharat Scheme.The officers from FCS&CA were directed to ensure timely distribution of ration to all the households of the district to save people from any inconvenience.The Deputy Commissioner also directed the ADC Sunderbani, ADC Kotranka and SDM Thanamandi to put in extra efforts to regulate movement of traffic and strengthen the checkpoints and properly share the information with the District level teams for effective surveillance.
