The current corona virus crisis has placed a huge responsibility on the shoulders of the Youth to make the people aware about safety precautions to ensure protection from the pandemic, opined these words said by Sukhwinde Singh Bindra, Chairman, Punjab Youth Development Board (Govt. of Punjab) on the occasion of felicitation of Young Mission Fateh Warriors at Rana Gallery, Shivpuri Chowk, G.T.Road, Ludhiana. Honouring the youth volunteers with the Mission Fateh Warrior badges and appeciation letters, he exhorted them to continue the awareness activities. 42000 Youth Volunteers have downloaded the COVA app and joined as Mission Fateh Warriors, S. Bindra added.Speaking on the occasion, S. Sukhwinder Singh Bindra informed that that the Punjab Youth Development Board (Govt. of Punjab) along with the Youth Services Department, over 13500 Youth Clubs and 1585 NSS Units is undertaking awareness generation activities. Besides, students from 18 Universities and 572 colleges as well as the600 Red Ribbon Clubs have also been roped in and are exhorting the common people to strictly follow the health protocols such as wearing of masks when going out, washing of hands for 20 seconds with soap as often as possible and maintaining the social distance.  He also said that the emphasis is also being laid on keeping the surroundings clean which also goes very far in combating the corona virus pandemic.Mr. Bindra said that the Punjab State would soon come out of the grip of this epidemic with the help of this mission. S. Sukhwinder Singh Bindra said that under the able leadership of Capt. Amrinder Singh, Chief Minister of Punjab, Punjab Youth Development Board is fully committed to the Welfare and Development of the Youth, Students and every resident of Punjab.
