District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode today chaired a meeting of all BDC Chairpersons of the district and listened to their grievances.BDC Chairpersons apprised the DDC about various issues pertaining to their respective blocks, they sought office facilities for them to carry out their routine work, construction of roads, payment of pending liabilities, payment of pending land compensations, fast internet facility in the far flung areas, accurate job card verification in all the blocks, payment of pending PMAY and SBM cases, regular field visits by the field staff.The BDCs also sought release of pending funds in 14th FC, completion of all the developmental works lying with different departments in their respective blocks, shortage of staff in health centres, provision of government transport facility for the far flung areas, formulation of plan in transparent manner, timely estimation of the works besides other important issues were also raised by all the BDC's for which DDC paid patient hearing and assured every possible support to them by the District Administration.
While discussing the issue of providing office spaces to all the BDCs, DDC directed the ACD to provide them sufficient space in all the Block Development Offices and action taken report shall be submitted to the DDC Office within two days without any delay.The DDC informed all the BDCs that in the district administration is going to earmark one kanal state land for the construction of BDC offices in each block and thus going to ensure strengthening the PRI's .While discussing the efforts of Covid-19 management in the district, the DDC lauded the cooperation of all the PRIs for generating mass awareness regarding the virus in their respective blocks besides asked them to continue with the same dedication and commitment to fight against this deadly virus.The DDC also informed that the district administration under the directions of Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu is persistently working for strengthening the grass root level democracy across the district and will leave no stone unturned unless this goal is not achieved in letter and spirit. Among others CPO Doda, ACD Doda, DPO Doda, Executive Engineer REW besides other officials of the administration were present.
