Deputy Commissioner, Rahul Yadav, today released the first-ever short film on ‘Corona awareness’ produced by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages, Rajouri.Deputy Commissioner appreciated the efforts of Cultural Officer Rajouri/Poonch, Dr Alamdar Adam, who took lead in producing the film on Coronavirus pandemic during the lockdown period in a short span of time.DDC lauded the efforts of the entire team artists, writer, lyricist and cameraman for their excellent performance in the film and expressed hope that this will definitely help in generating awareness among the masses.Cultural Officer, while speaking on occasion, highlighted the importance of this short film in the prevailing COVID-19 threat which has consumed lakhs of lives around the world. The film displays and elaborates how this infection spreads, the precautions need to be taken and what lifestyle we should adopt in this relaxed period to prevent the virus.The artists of Sarswati Sangeet Kala Kendra Poonch, a veteran theatre group of Peer Panchal headed by Pardeep Khanna, have done justice to their roles in the film.
