The State Government would consider laying online foundation stones and inaugural of various developmental projects, if the present situation prolongs so as to ensure that the pace of development does not suffer due to COVID-19 situation. This was stated by the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while addressing the virtual rally of Haroli Mandal BJP through video conferencing from Shimla.Chief Minister said that all the developmental projects in the Haroli BJP Mandal would be expedited and completed in the stipulated time period. He said that the developmental works have been adversely affected due to the Corona pandemic and  has forced us to rethink and reframe our developmental strategies. 

Jai Ram Thakur said that the able and strong leadership provided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ensured that India effectively fights the Covid pandemic. He said that the timely and appropriate decisions taken by the Prime Minister has ensured that the impact of covid was not so adverse as compared to other developed countries.The Chief Minister said that it was the moral duty of the state government to bring back lakhs of people stranded in different parts of the country. 

He said that thousands of people of the State have been brought back from various parts of the country by special trains and buses.Jai Ram Thakur said that a Congress leader of the area was even trying to rake up this issue in a bid to gain political mileage. He said that the leader of opposition was posing if he had vast experience of running the government. He advised the Congress leader first have a look at the situation in the Congress ruled state and then question the state government. He said that the Congress party was a leaderless party where everyone was trying to project himself as the leader of the party. The Chief Minister said that it was strange that the Congress leaders were making much hue and cry regarding the alleged health scam. He said that as soon as the matter came to the notice of the government, action was taken against the Director of Health immediately. He said that the government was adopting zero tolerance policy against corruption and any one indulged in corruption would be dealt with sternly.Referring to the development of Haroli vidhan sabha area, the Chief Minister said that the state government was according top priority to ensure development of the area. He said that developmental projects worth crores of rupees have been started in the area.Industries Minister Bikram Thakur, Vice Chairman HPSIDC Prof. Ram Kumar,  BJP Vice President Sanjeev Katwal and District President Manohar Lal also shared their views on the occasion.
