The Punjab State Safai Karamchari Commission held a meeting late 3rd June evening under the Chairmanship of Geja Ram Valmiki.The agenda of the meeting was to allott districts to the office bearers of the commission so as to ensure smooth functioning at the District level.The districts of Bathinda, Mansa, Fazilka, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Faridkot and Moga were allotted to Member Mr. Inderjit Singh. The districts of Pathankot, Nawanshahar, Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Kapurthala and Hoshiarpur were allotted to Member Mr. Prem Masih. The Chairman Mr. Geja Ram Valmiki would assist in the functioning of District Kapurthala. Similarly, the Vice Chairman of the commission Mr. Ram Singh Sardulgarh would look after the districts of Ludhiana, Tarntaran, Jalandhar, Ferozepur, Barnala, Sangrur, Mohali, Fatehgarh Sahib, Ropar, Patiala and the police districts of Jagraon, Khanna and Batala.
