SSP Moga Harmanbir Singh Gill today led the onset of Mission Fateh – to combat pandemic corona virus - in district with a special band performance of police band held at Joginder Chowk.Speaking at the event, SSP Gill said that the Chief Minister Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh has launched Mission Fateh campaign across the state to raise massive awareness drive giving general masses tips to keep themselves safe from the corona virus. This month long campaign will mobilize people towards attaining hygiene and health goals.He said that the corona affecting people in all possible ways and the only way to stay away from it is to follow the government instructions in this regard. People should not follow the rules out of being penalized. Rather they should follow the government orders as a mark of self responsibility towards ones family and nation.He said that spitting in public will attract penalty of Rs 500. Not maintaining social distance at shops or commercial places will lead to Rs 2000 penalty. Similarly, the owners of vehicles that fail to maintain social distance will attract penalty of upto Rs 200, buses will be levied Rs 3000 and cars will be levied Rs 2000 fine. Auto rickshaw and two wheeler vehicles can attract fine upto Rs 500 for not maintaining social distance.He called upon people to make Mission Fateh a success with community participation.
