The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Mr. Kuldeep Kishan Sidha today convened a meeting of engineers of Irrigation, PHE, R&B, PMGSY, Rural Development Dept. and other key sectors at Dakbanglow, Anantnag.The DDC on the occasion stressed upon the engineers to facilitate the farming activities and MGNREGA works to ensure employment to labourers and directed for taking inputs of skilled/unskilled labourers for rural development.Emphasizing on the usage of masks, soaps and sanitizers at the work sites, screening of the labours during the execution of mega projects and ongoing works he directed to contain those with symptoms to prevent transmission of virus.The meeting was attended by ADCs, SEs R&B Hydraulic, all Exns of Irrigation, PHE, Flood control, R&B JD Planning and other district officers.
