Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur was presented a cheque of Rs. 3,29,400 by MLA Drang Jawahar Thakur on behalf of the people of Drang area of Mandi district as contribution towards ‘HP SDMA COVID-19 State Disaster Response Fund’ here today.President of Shimla Zonal Committee of Northern Zone Insurance Employees Association Subhash Bhatt also presented cheques of Rs. 6,13,000 on behalf of employees and pensioners to the Chief Minister towards this Fund.Chief Minister thanked the contributors for their noble gesture.Zonal Secretary of the Association Pradeep Minhas, Treasurer Ashutosh Gautam and Members Arun Rajdan, Ashok Thakur, Vinod Chauhan, Brindesh Vishasht and S.K. Sharma were also present on the occasion.Ram Kumar, Ex-MLA Doon Assembly Constituency of Solan district also contributed Rs. 51 thousand towards this fund.
