The District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise(DBEE) is fully committed to guide the youth of the district in choosing their career path in accordance with their aptitude and skill. Disclosing this while launching the online career counselling programme for youth through video conference,  the Additional Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Aashika Jain holding interaction with the youth of various colleges of the district  said that the main aim of the DBEE is to prepare the youth for job avenues in diversified sectors.The ADC further said that in order to fulfil the aspirations of the youth, the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise is playing an important role by providing career counselling. But the first and foremost thing for the youth is to register on www.pgrkam.com to get connected with the DBEE which interacts with the youth and guides in selecting the right career for them not only in Government and Private sector but also assists them in starting their own ventures in varied sectors such as fisheries, piggery, beautician, Data Entry operators etc. It also helps them in acquiring loans from the banks on easy terms. The DBEE also prepares the youth for job interviews and helps them find placement. The information with regard to around 1500-2000 vacancies in varied sectors is being gathered and would be shared with them in the forthcoming sessions. The DBEE also aims to enhance the skill of the youth by providing them opportunities to go in for skill development courses from the Punjab Skill Development Mission.The ADC exhorted the youth to feel free to send in their queries at [email protected] and also follow the facebook page of the bureau @District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise SasNagar-Mohali@.
