Another special train today left the Mohali Railway Station at 1 pm, carrying a total of 1560 migrant workers to Katihar in Bihar.The District Administration ensured that the migrant workers were provided with the Food, Water and Biscuits besides carrying out thorough screening in accordance with the revised guidelines of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs. The migrant population going back to their native places especially the women and the people in their old age expressed deepest gratitude to the District Administration for providing them every facility and making elaborate preparations for their journey back home.
