The BJP led by its state president Arun Sood Monday met the heads of various departments and presented ‘dhanyawaad prastaav’ ( thank you letter) forward by city residents as a mark of gesture towards covid warriors. In these thanksgiving motions, the BJP workers have collected signatures of about 28 thousand families at 557 booths from all over the city except the containment zones. Residents conveyed thanks to each one including doctors, nurses, paramedics, policemen, bank and postal officials, sanitation workers and all the personnel involved in the necessary services from the Municipal Corporation and UT administration who are fighting against Corona.A delegation led by Arun Sood met Manoj Parida, advisor to the administrator in this regards wherein Parida also remarked that it is commendable in itself to respect the employees who work with dedication by risking their lives in such a unique way. This honor will further boost his morale in his career. Earlier, Arun Sood met Mayor Rajbala Malik and Municipal Commissioner Kamal Kishore Yadav and thanked all the employees associated with the Municipal Corporation including all the sanitation workers.Thereafter Sood also met Viney Tiwari, Chief Post Master, Sanjay Beniwal, DGP, Chandigarh Police, Dr. Jagat Ram, Director, PGI, Mandeep Singh Brar, DC, Chandigarh and expressed the thanks forward by fellow residents.
