Bandipora is seeing a surge in the number of patients as more and more patients continue to recover from Covid-19 with total recovered cases at 126 now.An official told news  agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that 126 Covid-19 patients have been cured and discharged so far out of the total 136 confirmed cases. "We are hopeful that the active  case will be at zero by the next few days," he said."Those who have been sent back home are being kept under observation and majority of them have fully recovered. However,  a strategy needs to be built on how people respond after the lockdown is over. We have to keep a watch on that too," the official said.He said that since the first case was  identified on March 24, the district had reported 135 positive cases so far of which 126 patients have recovered while only 8 cases are active now in the district.In the District  4784 cases were sampled out of which 135 cases have been found positive, 43000 cases as negative. Among 135 positive cases, 126 have recovered and on patient has died.

“Over that 40431 people are screened so far and now we have to check the rest of the people also we are collecting more samples.”As per media bulletin over 5085 people who  came in contact with COVID-19 suspected cases have been put under surveillance, including 252 people in Admin quarantine, 08 in hospital isolation besides 7502 persons have  completed their surveillance period of 28 days—(KNO)
