"The number of active cases is decreasing in the district with each passing day which is an indicator of the fast improving health scenario in view of the corona virus." These views were expressed here today by the Deputy Commissioner Mr. Girish Dayalan. Divulging more, he said that today the district saw three female patients being discharged.They were undergoing treatment at the Civil Hospital in Ropar and were working at the same hospital. Out of these three, 2 belong to Kharar while one hails from Kurali. With this development, the total number of active cases have dropped down to 4 and 98 being discharged out of 105. Three co-morbid patients unfortunately died.
