134 Residents Of City Who Came Back From Other States Return Home After Completing Quarantine Period

In a good news for the city all 134 residents of city including 122 who had returned from Sri Hazur Sahib and 12 those have returned from Majnu Ka Tilla Gurdwara sahib, Delhi returned back to their homes after their reports were found negative and their quarantine period was over.Out of 134, 121 pilgrims from Sri Hazur Sahib who were kept here at the quarantine center in the School for Meritorious Children were already discharged after their quarantine period was over. The last one of them whose report was found negative was discharged from the School today. In the same manner 12 residents who were stranded in Gurdwara Majnu Ki Tilla in Delhi were also discharged from the quarantine centre set up at the National Institute of Technology.hese 12 persons were brought at the quarantine centre a few days back by the state government and the district administration had made elaborate arrangements for their comfortable stay, boarding and lodging besides their food. Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma had made PCS officer Ms. Navneet Bal as incharge of the quarantine centre at NIT whereas another PCS officer Mr. Hardeep Singh was looking after the quarantine center at Meritorious School. The people who were quarantined at these centers were imparted quality diagnostic and treatment facilities by highly qualified team of the Doctors. As the SWAB throat test of these people was found negative they were finally discharged from the hospital.Meanwhile, after getting discharged from the quarantine centers these people showered heaps of praise on the state government led by the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and the district administration. They said that the administration has ensured flawless arrangements for them in the centre.
