Acting as a angel for 24 years old girl from Ladakh, the Jalandhar (Rural) Police ensured timely diagnose and treatment for the girl who got unwell on way to her native state.A group of 54 students from Ladakh, which was stuck in Madhya Pradesh, was returning back to their native state on Wednesday via two buses. At the night they had stopped at an eatery on the National highway where food was arranged for them. However at around 11pm one of the group member Ms Fatima had some health problem due to which the Senior Superintendent of Police Mr Navjot Singh Mahal was informed.Immediately swinging into action, the Senior Superintendent of Police deployed the Station House officer Phillaur Mr Mukhtiar Singh to ensure proper treatment of the girl. On directions of Mr Mahal the girl was then rushed to DMC Hospital Ludhiana. After ensuring proper diagnose and treatment of the girl she was finally discharged at 3:30 am from the hospital after which she was repatriated with her group.The girl thanked the Punjab Police for this benevolent gesture. She lauded the role of officers of the Punjab Police for this humanitarian act. Meanwhile, the Senior Superintendent of Police said that girl was fit and fine after which she was sent back to her native state. He said that it was matter of great pride and satisfaction for us that in the end the smiling face of girl made all of us happy. Mr Mahal said that the Jalandhar (Rural) Police was honored to serve these students.
