Balbir Singh Sidhu launches cleaning work of N-Choe in Phase-9

"The work pertaining to the cleaning of N-Choe would be given top priority as the monsoon season is approaching which could turn it into a breeding ground for mosquitoes thus  leading to unhygienic conditions especially in view of the present COVID-19 crisis." This was disclosed here today by the Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu on the occasion of  launching the cleaning work of the N-Choe in Phase-9 which flows from Chandigarh into the District. The minister also divulged that the work would be fast paced and is expected  to be completed in 2 months and would incur the cost of Rs. 13.58 Lakh.Meanwhile, Mr. Sidhu also handed over Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to the sanitation workers at  the MC Bhawan in the presence of the Commissioner MC Mr. Kamal Garg and while praising their contribution in the present times of crisis, described them as the Corona  Warriors.
